Moldovan Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu arrived in Kyiv for an official visit, according to his Feb. 10 X post.
He is scheduled to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
"On behalf of the people of Moldova, I am sending a clear message of solidarity. We support Ukraine as neighbors and friends, united by our commitment to a just and lasting peace and our shared vision of a future in the EU,” he wrote.
Moldova’s parliament approved Munteanu as prime minister on Oct. 31, 2025. He is an economist and businessman who previously lived and worked in Ukraine for about 20 years.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
