Artillery shells and drones in new German aid package
The latest batch of German
security assistance to Ukraine includes 14,000 155mm artillery rounds,
UAVs, and mine-clearing vehicles, the German government announced on Feb. 26.
According to the message, the contents of the aid package are as follows:
· 14,000 rounds of 155mm ammunition;
· Four WISENT 1 mine-clearing tanks;
· Three remote controlled mine clearing systems;
· Material for explosive ordnance disposal;
· 250 tool kits with blasting material;
· 10 VECTOR reconnaissance UAVs;
· 22 anti-drone sensors and jammers;
· 12 SatCom terminals;
· Four armored border patrol vehicles;
· 10 Bergepanzer 2 armored recovery vehicles.
On Feb. 7, the Bundestag passed the federal budget for 2024, which includes EUR 7.6 billion ($8.25 billion) allocated for military aid to Ukraine.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
