Russian attack destroys Nova Poshta branch, damages sorting depot in Kyiv

A Nova Poshta delivery company branch was destroyed and a sorting depot was damaged in the Ukrainian capital as a result of Russia's attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region overnight into Sept. 24, according to the company’s update on its Telegram channel.
It said no employees were hurt. Some parcels were destroyed, and the company is moving the surviving parcels to another location.
Recipients will be additionally notified of the new address and branch number, and Nova Poshta says it will compensate the declared value of shipments destroyed in the attack.
The company has also activated backup logistics to reduce possible delivery delays and continues to deal with the aftermath of the attack. Shipment status can be tracked through Nova Poshta's mobile app or website.
Overnight into Sept. 24, Russia struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones, following a massive daytime drone attack on Sept. 23. According to the State Emergency Service, two people were killed and eight injured in the overnight strike. Hits were reported in the Solomyanskyi, Podilskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts.
Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi reported that a Russian missile hit near a maternity hospital in Kyiv.
Ukraine's Air Force said Kyiv Oblast was among the targets of the overnight attack, in which Russia launched ballistic missiles and drones. Air defenses neutralized seven Iskander and Zircon missiles and 219 drones.
