Russian forces attacked Lutsk with drones overnight into Sept. 3, causing damage to civilian infrastructure, according to Mayor Ihor Polishchuk.

Local authorities reported that the strike damaged civilian facilities.

“Thank God, there are no injuries or fatalities,” Polishchuk added.

Preliminary reports indicate that two garages and a utility building were destroyed by fire, with another building damaged by debris. A private truck was completely burned.

Overnight into Sept. 3, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using Shahed drones and missiles.

In Znamyanka, Kirovohrad Oblast, drones struck Ukrainian Railways’ facilities, injuring five people, damaging 28 homes, and hitting infrastructure.

In Khmelnytskyi, residential buildings sustained damage, including broken windows, and a trolleybus and non-residential premises were affected. A fire broke out at a garage complex but was quickly extinguished. Information on potential casualties and the full extent of damage is still being clarified.

Explosions were also reported in Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Sumy, Kyiv, Rivne, Ternopil, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts.
