Russian strike on Nikopol kills bus driver, injures 1

A Russian attack on Nikopol, in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, set a commuter bus on fire, killing the driver and injuring one other person, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported on Aug. 8.
The bus driver was killed at the scene. His 48-year-old colleague was injured and is currently receiving medical care.
Overall, Russian forces struck Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with drones more than 10 times overnight into Aug. 8. The Nikopol, Marhanets, and Pokrovske municipalities came under attack.
The strikes damaged a gas station and a private home, and injured one additional person.
