SBU drones ignite fire at Russian Bashneft-UNPZ refinery in Ufa

Ukraine's SBU Security Service drones struck a Russian oil refinery in Ufa, more than 1,400 kilometers from Ukraine, an informed SBU source told NV on Oct. 11.
Long-range drones from the Special Operations Center A of Ukraine's SBU targeted the Bashneft-UNPZ oil refinery in Ufa, the capital of Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan.
Preliminary reports indicate the drone attack sparked a fire near the ELOU-AVT-6 crude oil processing unit, with explosions and heavy smoke observed across the facility.
The SBU noted that Ufa ranks among Russia's largest oil refining hubs, providing fuel and lubricants to Russian invasion forces in Ukraine.
This marks the third SBU deep strike in Bashkortostan over the past month. On Sept. 18, SBU drones hit the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat plant. On Sept. 24, the center's drones struck the same facility again — one of Russia's biggest.
