Russian strike damages factory in Chernihiv

Russian drone barrage targeted the administrative center of Chernihiv Oblast overnight, regional Governor Dmytro Bryzhynskyi reported on Telegram early on Oct. 16.

One of Chernihiv's enterprises was hit and damaged in the attack.

Emergency services are at the site. There were no reported casualties.

Earlier that day, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) reported that a Russian drone had set ablaze a high-rise apartment building in the city of Nizhyn. At least one person was injured.
