Terrorist Russia levels children’s camp in Kharkiv with at least two million-dollar S-300 missiles
Russia attacked a children's health camp on the outskirts of Kharkiv on the night of Jan. 10, Mayor Ihor Terekhov and city governor Oleh Synehubov said.
While no casualties were reported, several buildings were damaged in the strike.
Russia attacked with S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the territory near Belgorod.
At least two strikes were seen.
"I emphasize that this is a completely civilian area. So, our enemy once again confirmed that he is a pure terrorist," Terekhov wrote.
The medical building and the canteen were demolished, while other infrastructure at the camp was severely damaged.
Kharkiv has regularly been on the receiving end of deadly missile strikes by Russia recently. At least 16 are still in hospital on Jan. 9 following attacks between Dec. 29 and Jan. 8.
Authorities and the military stated that Kharkiv is not currently threatened by a large-scale offensive by the Russian army despite the attacks and reports in the Western media.
No Russian troop build-ups have been reported.
