A curfew from 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m has been introduced in the city of Mykolaiv until Aug. 8, the head of Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported on Aug. 5.
Kim urged everyone to be understanding about these measures, as well as to plan their weekend ahead and to purchase the goods they need for two days.
He said that if you need to walk your dog near your house, you need to take documents with you.
The head of the oblast noted that walking with children near the house are also allowed, but it is still not worth going out without a serious reason.
He also denied rumors that there were plans to close the bridges in Mykolaiv, emphasizing that an offensive by Russian invasion forces on the city, or its encirclement, is currently impossible. The city has bridges across the Dnipro and Inhul rivers.
Kim announced on July 20 there were plans to close the city of Mykolaiv in order to search for traitors.
