Russia targets aid workers in second missile strike that kills 14, injures dozens in Odesa

Eight people, including a paramedic and an emergency services worker, were killed and more than 20 were injured, in Russia's attack on Odesa on March 15, the Prosecutor General's Office reported in Telegram.

UPDATE: 3:13 pm: The death toll in the Russian attack on Odesa has now risen to 14

Details regarding the number of casualties, as well as a comprehensive list of the damages and destruction, are still being clarified.

“As a result of the Russian missile attack, a paramedic and an emergency services worker, who arrived to provide assistance after the first explosion, were killed,” Kiper wrote.

The total number of casualties is being clarified, with all victims receiving necessary medical assistance, he said.

A "double-tap" attack is a terrorist tactic where a targeted area is hit by an initial strike, and then, as rescue personnel arrive or wounded are being moved to hospitals, a subsequent strike targets the same location or the medical facilities to which the injured have been taken.
