Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a road bridge near Novoazovsk in Donetsk Oblast and two railway bridges in Luhansk Oblast on June 28 and overnight into June 29, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

Russian forces had been using the logistics sites to move personnel, weapons, ammunition and other supplies. The results of the strikes are still being clarified.

Ukrainian forces also struck a Russian logistics supply depot near Novosvitlivka in Luhansk Oblast.

In addition, three Russian drone control points were hit near Huliaypole in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, Tyotkino in Russia’s Kursk Oblast, and Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast, the General Staff said. A command post for a Russian electronic warfare unit was also struck near Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast.

On June 28, the General Staff had also reported that Ukraine struck a railway bridge near Ichky in occupied Crimea, as well as the Yaroslavl refinery and the Slavyansk refinery in Russia.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
