Russia hits business center in downtown Dnipro, killing 3, injuring 12

Russia struck a business center in downtown Dnipro on Sept. 28, causing multiple casualties, according to regional military governor Oleksandr Hanzha.
As of 12:57 p.m. Three people were killed in the Russian attack on Dnipro. At least 12 were injured, according to the regional military administration.
Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, writes that rescue workers are continuing to use a crane to extract people trapped on upper floors.
Search-and-rescue operations are continuing at the business center. Rescuers led 47 people out of the burning building. People on the upper floors are being evacuated using an aerial ladder truck.
The attack started a fire.
Hanzha posted a video of the aftermath showing significant destruction of the multistory building.
Lukashuk said that several people were not responding to attempts to contact them after the Russian attack.
"The enemy attacked Dnipro. Struck the city center in the middle of the workday, where there are many people. There are injured," Lukashuk wrote.
At about 11:15 a.m., Ukraine's Air Force warned of jet-powered drones heading for Dnipro.
