Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the EU and its member states have transferred military equipment worth $8 billion to Kyiv, EU diplomacy chief Josep Borrell said at a press briefing on Nov. 14, as reported by Reuters.
The figure puts Europe's assistance to Ukraine at about 45% of the amount provided by the United States.
Borrell added that Brussels will “continue to isolate Russia internationally” and procced to impose additional “restrictive measures” against the Russian economy, as the bloc “re-values” its future Moscow relations.
Earlier official reports said that the United States has allocated more than $18.6 billion in military aid to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion.
