Explosion heard in Dnipro during air raid alert; no injuries reported
An explosion was heard in Dnipro during an air raid alert on
July 27, amid a missile threat, according to public broadcaster Suspilne.
At 6:40 p.m., the head of the Dnipro Oblast Military
Administration, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed the explosions in the Dniprovskyi
district of the city. No one was reportedly injured in the Russian attack.
At 5:13 p.m., an air raid alert was canceled in
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
According to a statement by the Ukrainian Air Force, the air
raid alert in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was declared at 4:35 p.m. At 4:37 p.m., the
Air Force warned of the threat of ballistic missile use in the areas where the
air alert was sounded.
At 4:38 p.m., residents of Dnipro were urged to take
shelter.
