Moscow blast kills one in elite residential complex
An explosion in Moscow's elite Alye Parusa residential complex on Aviatsionnaya Street has left one person dead and at least five injured, Russian Telegram channel Baza reported on Telegram on Feb. 3.
The blast occurred in the elevator lobby of building No. 77, according to preliminary reports.
"One person died during the explosion in the Alye Parusa complex," the report stated.
“The lobby was severely damaged. At least five people were injured in total.”
Telegram channel 112, citing its own source, reported that the explosion happened as one of the residents entered the building with security guards, and he was the one killed.
The concierge mentioned that he had seen this man in the building before and several times on television. An assassination attempt is one of the theories being considered, according to the report.
Russian propaganda channel VChK-OGPU claimed that the deceased might be Armen Sarkisyan, the president of the “Boxing Federation” of the terrorist group "DPR" and the founder of the Arbat battalion of militants.
On Feb. 2, a large fire, likely at a warehouse with gas cylinders, also occurred in Moscow.
Later, the Russian propaganda Telegram channel Shot reported that explosions were heard at the fire site, thick black smoke was visible, and the roof of the building allegedly collapsed.
