Explosions rock Russian-occupied Berdyansk — photos

Several explosions rocked the Russian-occupied town of Berdyansk in Zaporizhzhya Oblast on the afternoon of July 11, Telegram messenger channel Berdyansk Today reported.

Photos released on social media show columns of smoke rising over the Sea of Azov.

According to local journalists, the incident occurred on the Berdyansk Spit.

“According to preliminary information, the same place as at night or one nearby has been hit,” they said.

“Ambulances have already rushed there.”

Earlier, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, announced that Russian Lieutenant General Oleg Tsokov had been killed in an attack on a hotel in occupied Berdyansk on July 11.
