Finnish Defense Forces believe that weapons donations for Ukraine will be useful for mastering Finnish military equipment, said Lieutenant General Mikko Heiskanen, head of military economy department of Finnish Defense Forces, Yle reported on June 8.

Not only weapons stored in warehouses are exported to Ukraine. According to Heiskanen, the latest innovations of the Finnish defense industry are also being supplied, and some of them are still under development.

"Feedback on the use of Finnish products has been positive,” military official said in an interview with STT, adding that experience gained in Ukraine will be useful for the development of the latest Finnish equipment.

Heiskanen also noted that production reserves made by the defense forces for Finnish companies could be activated to support Ukraine.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
