Russian drone strike sparks massive fire near Kharkiv - Photos

Two warehouses and several containers caught fire in suburbs of Kharkiv after an overnight Russian drone attack, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service (SES) reported on Telegram on June 3, posting photos of the aftermath.

SES units and the local fire brigade battled the blaze, which spread across 3,000 square meters.

According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

Several groups of Russian Shahed drones were launched toward Ukraine overnight, triggering air raid alerts in most Ukrainian oblasts. Explosions were reported in Odesa, Poltava and Chernihiv.

Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov reported that Russian drones attacked a densely populated residential area of the city overnight. The attack damaged several apartment buildings, civilian infrastructure, and numerous cars.
