For the first time, a drone attack was reported in Russia’s Komi Republic, with Telegram channels saying a tank was breached at the Ukhta oil refinery on Aug. 10.

Photos and videos from the scene of the attack were published, notably by the Cheka-OGPU Telegram channel. Commentary notes that eyewitnesses saw a hole in a tank at the Ukhta oil refinery following the drone strike.

The local Telegram channel V Ukhta uvazhayut reported that emergency services are working at the refinery after “loud bangs,” and residents say a drone hit the facility, though this has not been officially confirmed.
