Switzerland has been designated as the venue for the upcoming fourth international summit focused on the Ukrainian Peace Formula, Ukrainian presidential chief-of-staff Andriy Yermak announced on his Telegram channel on Monday, December 18.

Yermak made the announcement following his meeting with James O'Brien, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, and Christopher Smith, the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, as part of a U.S. state visit to Kyiv.

"We discussed the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, including preparations for the fourth meeting of national security advisors and foreign policy advisors, which will take place in Switzerland,” Yermak said.

The discussions with the representatives of the State Department also delved into the outcomes of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's recent visit to the United States, emphasizing the significance of "accelerating the implementation of bilateral agreements reached."

According to Yermak, the discussions covered American support for Ukraine, the expansion of sanctions against Russia, and the assurance of "effective security guarantees" to Ukraine.

"The American side, in turn, expressed high regard for the efficiency of the 'grain corridor' in the Black Sea, which Ukraine has ensured,” Yermak noted.

“We acknowledged the necessity of sustaining its operation and enhancing its capacity.”

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
