Germany provides additional military support for Ukraine

Germany has provided additional military support for Ukraine over the past week by supplying equipment and weapons, Germany’s Federal Government said in a report on Oct. 18.
In particular, the equipment and weapons supplied to Ukraine include:
- five armoured recovery vehicles;
- seven heavy and medium bridge systems;
- 167,000 rounds of ammunition for fire arms;
- 100 tents;
- 183 generators.
Among other things, Germany also sent 116,000 winter jackets, 80,000 pairs of winter trousers, and 240,000 winter hats to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said Germany would transfer armored vehicles, tracked bridge-laying vehicles, howitzers, multiple launch rocket systems, and anti-drone systems to Ukraine by late 2022.
