Ukrainian forces repel 151 combat engagements amid intense Russian offensive — General Staff

Russian forces launched two missile attacks, 58 airstrikes involving 76 combat aircraft, 1,041 kamikaze drone strikes, and approximately 4,000 artillery strikes, resulting in 151 combat engagements on the frontline over the past day, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on Facebook on July 7.

The enemy conducted air strikes across multiple regions, targeting five settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, 20 in Donetsk Oblast, and two in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

In the Kharkiv sector, offensive and assault operations supported by aviation resulted in 11 combat engagements near Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and Liptsi. The Kupyansk sector saw seven engagements, with Ukrainian forces successfully repelling attacks in Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Stelmakhivka.

Ukrainian Armed Forces thwarted 20 attacks in the Liman sector near Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske in Luhansk Oblast, Terny, and Torske in Donetsk Oblast. In the Siverskyi sector, five attacks were repelled near Spirne and Vyimky in Donetsk Oblast.

Ukrainian defenders stopped 11 enemy breakthroughs in the Kramatorsk sector, specifically near Klishchiyivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, and Andriivka. In the Toretsk sector, 16 attacks were carried out near Toretsk, Pivnichne, Zalizne, and New York in Donetsk Oblast, supported by airstrikes.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 49 enemy attacks were repelled near Yurivka, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Kalynove, Lozuvatske, Progres, Novoselivka Persha, Yevhenivka, Yasnobrodivka, and Karlivka in Donetsk Oblast.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian troops held back 19 enemy attempts near Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostyantynivka. The enemy carried out four attacks in the Vremivsk sector near Vodiane in Donetsk Oblast and four engagements in the Orikhiv sector, repelled near Robotyne and Novodanylivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy attempted five unsuccessful attacks to displace Ukrainian units from positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained stable with no significant changes or signs of enemy offensive groups forming. On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, the enemy maintained a military presence, conducting sabotage, reconnaissance activities, and shelling settlements from Russian territory.
