Special forces from Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) have attacked a Russian military base in Syria, where the enemy was assembling attack drones, Kyiv Post reported on Sept. 16, citing HUR sources.

According to the report, the operation took place on the southeastern outskirts of Aleppo on Sept. 15, and Kyiv Post obtained corresponding video footage.

The sources stated that Russian forces were manufacturing and testing attack drones at the facility.

Additionally, the base was used to produce "camouflaged improvised explosive devices," the warheads for which were stored on-site and were destroyed.
