Russians launch missile attack on infrastructure in Odesa Oblast
The Russian military launched a missile attack on an infrastructure object in Odesa Oblast, the “Odesa.Official” Telegram channel reported on Aug. 22, citing the Ukrainian military’s South Operation Command.
The Kh-59 air-launched cruise missiles were fired from Su-35 aircraft flying over the Black Sea.
There were no casualties. The details of the attack are being clarified.
On the night of Aug. 21, Russia fired five missiles at Odessa Oblast. Two of them were shot down by air defense forces, and three more hit the territory of an agricultural facility.
