Ukraine races to fix power grid after Russian strikes

Emergency repair efforts are underway following an overnight Russian drone attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in Kharkiv, Odesa, and Donetsk oblasts, Energy Ministry reported on Telegram on Nov. 11.
Rolling power outages and restrictions on industrial consumers and businesses are in effect across most Ukrainian regions from midnight to 11:59 p.m.
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian airstrikes damaged critical infrastructure, prompting emergency power cuts. Boiler houses were de-energized, suspending Lozova’s heat supply. An explosion was also reported outside Kharkiv on Tuesday morning, while the Ukrainian Air Force issued an alert in response to a potential ballistic missile launch from Russia’s Kursk Oblast.
In Odesa Oblast, Russian drone strikes damaged civilian energy and transport infrastructure, sparking fires at several facilities.
