29 December 2023, 05:40 PM

Three men were injured after Russia shelled the residential neighborhoods in Kherson’s Korabelny district, city governor Roman Mrochko reported.

The shelling took place at 12:30 EET, he said. Russians attacked the city from the occupied left bank.

The three men, aged 44, 51, and 72, were hospitalized with various wounds.

Kherson and Kherson Oblast are under attack almost every day. The Russian army attacked the railway station on Boxing Day, killing a police officer and injuring several other law enforcement officers and civilians who were waiting for the evacuation train at the time.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
