Woman killed in Kramatorsk shelling as seven injured in Shakhove attack — photos
At least one person was killed in a shelling attack on Kramatorsk by Russian forces, Donetsk regional military administration head Vadym Filashkin said on Sept. 23.
Three people were injured and eight private homes were damaged in the shelling, which killed a 45-year-old woman and injured her husband, Filashkin said.
"We are assessing the full impact of the shelling. Once again, I urge everyone: do not put yourself in danger! Evacuate!" he added.
Later, Filashkin reported that Russian forces shelled the village of Shakhove in the Dobropil district, injuring seven people, including two children.
"Two of the injured were taken to the nearest hospital, while the others received on-site medical assistance. The attack damaged 24 private homes, three administrative buildings, and a social institution," he said.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
