Sixty-two of 110 Russian Shahed and imitation drones of various types were shot down over the eastern, northern, western, and central parts of Ukraine overnight, the Air Force reported on Telegram on May 15.

Another 29 drones were suppressed by electronic warfare.

The enemy drones were launched from Russia’s Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, and Rostov oblasts.

Explosions and damage were reported in Ukraine’s Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn, Poltava, Kyiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts.

Earlier, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Governor Svitlana Onyshchuk reported that several groups of drones had attacked the oblast from different directions.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
