Zelenskyy discusses defense assistance with Czech counterpart at Munich Security Conference
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his Czech counterpart Petr Pavel had a “very concrete and meaningful” discussion on defense assistance to Ukraine during the Munich Security Conference, the president wrote on Telegram on Feb. 17.
“We talked about defense support for Ukraine, strengthening cooperation between our countries’ defense industries and joint arms production,” he wrote, also noting that Kyiv highly appreciates the Czech Republic’s support for the peace formula and comprehensive assistance to the country and its people.
On the same day, Pavel said that the Czech Republic had found hundreds of thousands of artillery shells abroad that it could be transferred to Ukraine within “weeks,” but that funding was needed to proceed.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
