Latvia sends six more M109 howitzers to Ukraine, ‘already producing results on the battlefield’

Latvia has delivered six more M109 howitzers to the Ukrainian army, DefenseMinister Oleksii Reznikov said on Twitter on Aug.
Reznikov thanked his Latvian counterpart Artis Pabriks for the new weapons, and noted that the howitzers are already operating at the front.
"Six more M109 howitzers that have recently arrived in Ukraine from Latvia are already showing results on the battlefield," Reznikov said.
It was also reported on Aug. 15 that Latvia had delivered four Mi-17 and Mi-2 combat helicopters to Ukraine.
