Belarus dictator Lukashenko embarks on Africa charm offensive in search of allies
Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko began an official visit to African countries on Dec. 9 to "intensify cooperation," his press service reported.
During the visit, Lukashenko will visit a number of African states to "establish strong ties between Belarus and the countries of the African continent."
The press service later reported that Lukashenko had arrived in Equatorial Guinea.
The Belarusian dictator earlier held talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Lukashenko also visited China on Dec. 3 for talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
