Industrial facility and power line damaged in Russian overnight drone attack, 35 of 39 Shaheds downed — Ukrainian military

Ukrainian forces shot down 35 out of 39 Shahed kamikaze drones in a 4.5-hour overnight Russian attack focused mainly on the southern regions of the country, the Southern Defense Forces reported on Telegram on March 10.

An industrial facility was damaged and set on fire in Odesa Oblast. The fire was quickly extinguished. No casualties were reported.

Another drone damaged a power line in the nearby Mykolaiv Oblast. According to the military, repairs are underway.

The enemy drones were launched along traditional routes with complex maneuvers after entering Ukrainian-controlled airspace from the Black Sea and occupied part of Kherson Oblast.

The massive drone attack triggered air-raid alerts in 10 Ukrainian oblasts. Explosions were heard in Odesa and other Ukrainian regions.
