Kyiv in flames after night of Russian barrage - Photos
At least two people were killed and 14 others were injured in a massive Russian combined drone and missile attack on Kyiv overnight, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on Telegram early on July 10.
Apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, shops, cars, warehouses, offices, and several non-residential buildings are burning in eight districts of the Ukrainian capital.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, drone debris set the top floor of a building on fire.
In the Darnytskyi district, garages and a gas station caught fire.
Several non-residential buildings are burning in the Podilskyi and Solomyanskyi districts. A truck is on fire in the Holosiivskyi district.
Emergency efforts are ongoing.
The city is covered in smoke. Residents are urged to keep their apartment windows closed.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
