Ukraine’s parliamentary Finance Committee has evidence that fugitive businessman Tymur Mindich had a partner with stakes in Russian companies, committee Deputy Chair Yaroslav Zheleznyak told NV Radio on May 12.

“We found confirmation related to a Seychelles[-registered] company,” Zheleznyak said.

“I won’t go into details, but Tymur Mindich still had a partner from the Russian Federation who has Russian business. We previously investigated diamond trading to both sides. Now we’ve found this and are sending it again to the Security Service of Ukraine.”

Zheleznyak said the case, which involves alleged trade with Russia and possible treason, has a long statute of limitations. He said his team’s late 2025 review of phone call recordings released by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) produced more concrete evidence against Mindich.

While examining the recordings, Zheleznyak said, investigators found that one of the beneficiaries of a Seychelles-registered company remained a Russian national through July 2025 and was engaged in the same business with Mindich. He said the two were listed in the same company registry. Zheleznyak reiterated that this is not a supposition but has supporting evidence.

On Oct. 23, 2025, Zheleznyak posted a video on his YouTube channel alleging that Mindich owned companies that sold diamonds in Ukraine and Russia.
