Russia launched two missile strikes at Odesa Oblast but Ukrainian anti-air defenses dealt with both of them, the Ukrainian military’s Operational Command South said in a Telegram post on June 20.

According to the message, the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the oblast, and the city of Odesa itself, were the targets.

The supersonic P-800 Oniks cruise missiles were launched from coastal batteries in occupied Crimea, and were intercepted and destroyed in the air.

Earlier, on June 19, Ukrainian anti-air defenses intercepted two Russian P-800 Oniks supersonic cruise missiles over Odesa Oblast.
