NASA satellites register Sevastopol shipyard fires — Photos
Images taken from NASA satellites have been released, highlighting the damage caused by a missile attack on a shipyard in Russian-occupied Sevastopol on the night of Sep. 13.
A FIRMS project map highlights that three fires began at the shipyard around 4 a.m. local time.
Reportedly, two ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were damaged in the attack. The Crimean Bridge that connects the Moscow-annexed peninsula with continental Russia was shut down to traffic again.
Ukraine has not officially commented on the incident.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
