Nearly fully intact Iranian suicide drone was found in Dnipro Oblast
Police explosives experts in the Dnipro oblast discovered an almost intact attack UAV, reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on Telegram on Feb. 9.
The agency said that the drone was launched by the Russian military at civilian targets and crashed in a barren area near one of the settlements.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the next step is to carefully remove the warhead and destroy it. The UAV itself will be disassembled and examined by experts.
On Feb. 9, Russia attacked Ukraine with 16 suicide drones.
Units of mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces were engaged to repel the air attack.
As a result of their work, ten UAVs were destroyed in Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv oblasts.
