Norway allocates $53 million to Ukraine aid
Norway will donate $53 million to the UK-managed International Fund for Ukraine, earmarked for drone and air defense procurement, the Norwegian government announced on Sept. 3.
“Ukraine has an urgent need for more military equipment to protect itself against the Russian war of aggression,” Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram said.
“Together with other countries, Norway will do what we can to contribute.”
On Aug. 23, Norway approved the transfer of its military technologies to Ukraine, including licensing 155mm artillery shell production.
On July 11, it was announced that Norway would allocate $92.69 million in additional military aid to Ukraine.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
