Occupiers attack Kharkiv Oblast: at least eight people killed
Russian invasion forces attacked the eastern Ukrainian town of Izyum at midnight on March 2, hitting a high-rise building and a private house, killing at least eight people, Izyum Deputy Mayor Volodymyr Matsokin reported to public broadcaster UA:PBC.
“The death toll of the attack in Izyum has increased to 8: 6 adults and 2 children – all civilians. The enemy also hit the police building, setting it on fire. There is significant damage in the city center, windows were smashed in the executive committee’s office,” Matsokin elaborated.
At least 2,000 civilians are officially confirmed to have perished as a result of Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
