Orban’s ministers destroying sensitive documents — Magyar

Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto is destroying documents that could incriminate
the outgoing government, victorious opposition leader Peter Magyar said on
April 13.
Speaking at a public event on the day after securing a constitutional majority in parliamentary elections, Magyar said that Szijjarto has been at the Foreign Ministry, “destroying documents about sanctions.”
Magyar said there are many international treaties and secret government decisions “about which nothing is known.” He also alleged that Prime Minister Viktor Orban took foreign loans under unknown conditions, information Magyar said his party does not have. Magyar called obtaining all documents and access codes his top priority to ensure the Hungarian state remains functional and said he would try to make as many documents as possible available to the public.
Local news outlet 444.hu earlier noted that Szijjarto was
not beside Orban when the PM publicly conceded defeat in the election.
Journalists also reported that Szijjarto had been silent on social media for
more than 16 hours; his last Facebook post was about 4 p.m. on April 12, urging
Fidesz supporters to vote.
