One woman was killed and three other people were injured in an overnight Russian attack on a densely populated neighborhood of Odesa, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) reported on Telegram on Sep. 22, posting photos of the aftermath.

“The buildings of a hotel, Ukrposhta, Ukrtelecom, a cultural center, an administrative services center, and several cars were damaged,” the SES wrote.

Five retail kiosks caught fire, but firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.

Earlier that morning, national rail operator Ukrzaliznytsia reported about trains' delay after Russia’s overnight attack on railway infrastructure in Ukraine’s central Kirovohrad Oblast.
