Overnight Russian suicide drone attack launched from Russia’s Bryansk Oblast, Air Force says

The overnight Russian drone attack on March 22 was launched from Bryansk Oblast, the press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The drones used were Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 models, commonly known as kamikaze or suicide drones. 21 of the drones were launched in total, with 16 intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses, the military said.

Three people were killed and seven injured as a result of a strike in Kyiv Oblast. The attack also damaged a civilian structure. In Zhytomyr Oblast, an infrastructure facility was also damaged in the attack.
