Partisans have disrupted the command system of Russian occupying forces in the border zone of Russia’s Bryansk Oblast, the Atesh movement reported on Oct. 19.
It was also reported that partisans carried out a sabotage operation at a “key communication hub” in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast, about 100 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The attack disabled a communications tower that provided coordination for occupation forces and border units, the Atesh resistance movement said.
The strike reportedly targeted command centers of the Russian border grouping, including units of the Border Service, the 84th Engineering and Airfield Battalion, and a regiment of the Russian National Guard.
“These formations were responsible for logistics, border security, and engineering support in the area. The disruption of communications broke coordination between units, creating chaos in the command system. The invaders temporarily lost control of a critical border area, which affected their ability to respond quickly to threats,” the partisans said.
On Oct. 14, Atesh reported that during reconnaissance, partisans identified serious problems with Russian air defenses in the Zaporizhzhya direction.
On Oct. 12, the group disrupted the movement schedule of military equipment and personnel trains in Russia’s Rostov Oblast.
