Ukraine has the absolute right to strike inside Russia with Western weapons — Polish Deputy Defense Minister
Poland supports Ukraine's right to use Western weapons to strike inside Russia, said Poland's Deputy Defense Minister, Cezary Tomczyk, Polskie Radio 24 reported on May 28.
This is due, in part, to Russia being the aggressor in the conflict, he said.
There should be no restrictions in this matter, he said.
Few countries have this position at this time.
"Today, Russia is doing what it wants, and Ukraine somehow must limit itself to appease some countries - and this should stop," Tomczyk said.
"Poland's position is clear — Ukraine must be able to fight with the equipment it receives, Poland has no objections in this matter."
British Foreign Minister David Cameron promised $3.74 billion in annual military aid to Ukraine "as much as needed," on May 3.
He added that London does not object to using its weapons to strike Russia.
Ukraine can use Swedish weapons for attacks on the territory of Russia, Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonson said.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
