A maintenance and service center for Ukraine's German-made Leopard 2 main battle tanks will be established in Poland, Ukrainian Defense MinisterOleksii Reznikov wrote on Twitter on April 21.

“A ‘tank coalition’ meeting was held,” he tweeted, following the Ramstein format meeting.

“I am grateful to my German and Polish colleagues, Boris Pistorius and Mariusz Błaszczak, for their unwavering support for Ukraine. Today, we signed the Letter of Intent for the establishment of a Maintenance and Service Center in Poland for Ukraine’s Leopard 2 main battle tanks. It will contribute to the strengthening of our cooperation and the capabilities of Ukrainian defenders.”

Reznikov noted that the “armored fist” formed by collaborative efforts will thwart the terrorist regime’s aggression against Europe and the entire free world.

“Ukrainian soldiers are skilled at defending their country,” the minister said.

“Modern Western technology will result in Moscow’s defeat. The sooner it happens, the sooner peace will come.

The 11th Ramstein format meeting of defense ministers representing 50 countries supporting Ukraine’s war effort is taking place at U.S. Air Force Ramstein base in Germany.
