Eleven settlements in Donetsk Oblast are attacked by Russians

Russian forces attacked 11 settlements in Donetsk Oblast with long-range weapons, damaging 33 residential homes and 10 apartment blocks, Ukrainian law enforcement said in a Telegram post on July 2.

According to police, Russia used a variety of multiple launch rocket and artillery systems to deliver the strikes, targeting Bakhmut, Slovyansk, Avdiivka, Chasiv Yar, Pivnichne, Pivdenne, Oleksandrivka, Kurdyumivka, Zhelanne, Tonenke, and Vozdvyzhenka.

Exact casualty figures are unclear, but the message mentioned there are killed and injured civilians in these attacks, which seemed to have deliberately targeted residential areas.

A total of 58 civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged, including a school, a farm, a shopping mall, a bus stop, a gym, gas pipes and powerlines.
