Ukraine downs six Shahed drones in Russian overnight attack, Sumy Oblast targeted with ballistic missiles
Ukraine's air defense downed all six Russia-launched Shahed kamikaze drones, targeting several western oblasts overnight, Mykola Oleschuk, Ukrainian Air Force Commander, reported on July 11.
The drones were downed across four oblasts, including Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
The Russians also launched Iskander-M ballistic missiles at Sumy Oblast at night.
Air raid alert sounded in both eastern and western oblasts due to the drone attacks overnight on July 11.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
