Russia attacks Ukraine with 58 drones, air defenses neuralize 43

Russia launched 58 Shahed-131/136 drones and decoy UAVs on Ukraine overnight into June 14, targeting Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhya oblasts, with Ukrainian air defenses neutralizing 43, the Air Force reported on Telegram.

The attack originated from Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, with Ukrainian air defenses downing 23 drones through direct fire and suppressing or losing track of 20 via electronic warfare. 

Strikes were reported in nine locations, and five saw debris fall. 

Zaporizhzhya endured at least five hits, with regional governor Ivan Fedorov confirming 14 Shahed drone strikes on the city, injuring two police officers.
