Russia under attack - claims Ukrainian drones over at least 6 RU oblasts, at least two oil bases hit
Russia's air defense forces allege to have shot down 25 Ukrainian "aircraft-type" drones over several regions of Russia on March 12, Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed on Telegram.
Seven drones were downed over the Belgorod Oblast, 11 over Kursk Oblast, two each above the Moscow and Oryol oblasts, and one drone each in Bryansk, Leningrad, and Tula oblasts.
Russia’s Defense Ministry did not mention Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, where the governor had confirmed a strike on an oil base, nor did it address the aftermath of an attack in Oryol, where a refinery caught fire.
Ongoing attacks were reported in the Belgorod and Kursk oblasts, according to local authorities.
