Two Russian oblasts come under drone attack overnight on April 4

Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that air defense systems shot down five drones on the night of April 4.

The ministry claimed that three drones were shot down in the Belgorod Oblast and two more in Tula Oblast. As is traditional, the ministry blamed Ukraine and claimed that there were no casualties or damage.

Belgorod Oblast experienced several drone attacks on the evening of April 3, Belgorod Oblast Vyacheslav Gladkov said, claiming that there were no casualties.

Russia alleged that air defense systems shot down 15 aerial targets over Belgorod and the Belgorod Oblast on March 29. Gladkov reported damaged buildings.

Schools in the Belgorod Oblast have shifted to remote learning due to consistent shelling.
